Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Subscription. If you signed up through the App Store or Google Play, cancel from your store account.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete Account. You can either schedule deletion (3-day grace) or delete immediately by typing DELETE and your password. Account removal completes within 30 days.

The AI estimate looks off. What now?

AI estimates are a starting point. You can adjust quantities, swap materials, and tweak markup before sending the quote. The Tracker tab on each job lets you organize phases and cost codes.

How do change orders work?

Open the job, tap Change Order, then add or remove materials with the chat. Tap "Send updated quote" and the client gets a fresh PDF the same way they got the original.

My employee can't clock in.

Check that location services are enabled for RateForge in iOS or Android system settings. If you're outside the job site geofence, the app will let you know.

How do I export my data?

Settings → Export Data. You'll get a CSV download of every job, client, quote, invoice, and time entry on your account.

Did the client get my quote?

Open the job and check the quote status badge. "Sent" means the email left our servers. "Viewed" means the client opened the share link. We do not track read receipts on the email itself.
