RateForge (operated by RateLabs LLC) provides estimating software for service contractors. This page explains what we collect and how we use it. Plain English version: we keep your data secure, we never sell it, and we touch your client payments only on lead-marketplace transactions.
What we collect
- Account info: name, business name, email, phone, address, trade.
- Job and estimate data you create in the app.
- Photos you upload to a job (thumbnails stored, full-resolution stays on your device).
- Payment processor info from Stripe — we never see card numbers.
- Standard logs: IP address, browser, app version, errors.
How we use it
- To run the app and let you build, send, and track estimates and invoices.
- To send transactional emails (verification, quotes/invoices on your behalf).
- To send weekly business snapshots (you can opt out).
- To match homeowners with contractors via the lead marketplace, when used.
Who we share with
Sub-processors: Stripe (payments), Railway (hosting), Google Workspace (transactional email). We never sell your data and we never share contractor data with other contractors.
Your rights
You can export all your data as CSV any time from Settings. You can delete your account from the same screen — that removes everything within 30 days.
